- 8 oz (225g) full-fat cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 box (15.25 oz/432g) yellow cake mix
- ½ cup holiday sprinkles
- ½ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough:
- Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in egg and vanilla extract. Gradually stir in cake mix to form a sticky dough. Fold in sprinkles.
- Chill:
- Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Form Cookies:
- Scoop dough into 1½-inch balls, roll in powdered sugar, and place on prepared baking sheets, 2 inches apart.
- Bake:
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are soft. Cool before transferring to a wire rack.
