Ingredients

  • 2 cups uncooked rotini or penne
  • 6 strips crispy bacon, chopped
  • 2 small boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • Salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups half and half
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Cook pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • Fry bacon until crispy, drain on paper towels, and chop.
  • Season chicken and cook in bacon drippings until golden. Set aside.
  • Make the sauce by melting butter, sautéing garlic, and whisking in flour, half and half, ranch seasoning, and cheese until creamy.
  • Combine pasta, chicken, and sauce; top with bacon. Serve hot.
