Description

This Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps recipe is a quick and satisfying meal featuring juicy, seasoned chicken, melty cheese, and a creamy garlic sauce. Wrapped in a golden tortilla, it’s perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Filling:
    • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • For the Wraps:
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 4 large flour tortillas
    • ½ cup creamy garlic sauce (store-bought or homemade)
    • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season the Chicken: Toss diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat.
  • Assemble the Wraps: Spread a spoonful of creamy garlic sauce on each tortilla. Add cooked chicken to the center, then top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  • Fold and Toast the Wraps: Roll up the tortillas tightly, folding in the sides. Toast in a skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve: Slice in half, garnish with parsley if desired, and enjoy hot.

Notes

  • Cheese Swap: Try Monterey Jack or pepper jack for a different flavor profile.
  • Add Veggies: Sautéed spinach, bell peppers, or onions make excellent additions.
  • Sauce Variations: Substitute the garlic sauce with ranch, chipotle mayo, or BBQ sauce.
  • Make Ahead: Prepare the chicken in advance and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Gluten-Free Option: Use gluten-free tortillas to accommodate dietary needs.
