- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- ¼ cup chopped parsley or green onions (for garnish)
- Optional: diced tomatoes, pickles, crispy turkey bacon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in cream of mushroom soup and milk. Stir well and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in the baking dish and sprinkle 1 cup of cheese on top.
- Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the beef mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve hot with optional toppings.
