Description

Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) frozen deep-dish pie crust, thawed

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1/2 cup diced onion

  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper

  • 1 cup diced cooked ham

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 cup half-and-half (or whole milk)

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place thawed pie crust on a baking sheet.

  • Melt butter in a skillet; sauté onion and bell pepper until soft. Let cool slightly.

  • Spread ham in the bottom of the crust. Top with sautéed veggies and cheese.

  • In a bowl, whisk eggs, half-and-half, salt, and pepper. Pour over the filling.

  • Bake 35–40 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool 5–10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Pre-cook veggies to avoid sogginess.
