Ingredients

1 (9-inch) frozen deep-dish pie crust, thawed

1 tbsp butter

1/2 cup diced onion

1/2 cup diced green bell pepper

1 cup diced cooked ham

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

4 large eggs

1 cup half-and-half (or whole milk)

1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place thawed pie crust on a baking sheet.

Melt butter in a skillet; sauté onion and bell pepper until soft. Let cool slightly.

Spread ham in the bottom of the crust. Top with sautéed veggies and cheese.

In a bowl, whisk eggs, half-and-half, salt, and pepper. Pour over the filling.

Bake 35–40 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool 5–10 minutes before slicing.
