Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (your favorite brand)
  • Eggs (as instructed by the mix)
  • Oil (as per mix instructions)
  • Water (as per mix instructions)
  • Strawberry or raspberry jam (optional)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • Sprinkles (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions.
  • Pour batter into a greased or parchment-lined pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
  • Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut brownies into hearts.
  • Optional: Spread jam on half of the hearts and sandwich them together.
  • Melt chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between.
  • Dip brownie hearts halfway into the melted chocolate. Place on parchment paper and decorate with sprinkles.
  • Chill for 15-20 minutes until chocolate sets.
