  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • ⅓ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tbsp grated ginger
  • ⅛ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
For the Stir Fry:
  • 2 (3 oz) packages ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • ½ cup water
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

    For the Stir Fry:

    • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
    • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
    • ½ tsp kosher salt
    • ½ tsp black pepper
    • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
    • ½ cup water
    • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce and cornstarch, then add the rest of the sauce ingredients. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Noodles: Boil ramen for 2-3 minutes, drain, rinse with cold water, and toss with sesame oil.
  3. Sear the Steak: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil, season steak, and cook for 3-5 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan.
  4. Cook the Broccoli: Add 1 tbsp olive oil, add broccoli, pour in water, cover, and steam for 2 minutes.
  5. Combine Everything: Return steak and noodles to the pan, pour in the sauce, toss to coat, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve & Garnish: Top with sesame seeds and enjoy immediately!

  • Slice steak thinly against the grain for the most tender results.
  • If using frozen broccoli, reduce cooking time by 1 minute to prevent overcooking.
  • Adjust sweetness and spice levels in the sauce to your preference.
