These crispy and sweet banana fritters are made with ripe bananas, flour, and cinnamon, then fried to golden perfection. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Oil for frying
  • (Optional: powdered sugar, honey, or melted chocolate for serving)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add the egg, milk, sugar, and cinnamon, then mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually mix into the banana mixture until just combined.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
  • Fry for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve warm with powdered sugar, honey, or melted chocolate.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
  • Avoid overmixing the batter to keep the fritters light and fluffy.
