- 12 mini croissants, halved horizontally
- ¾ pound thinly sliced smoked deli ham
- 6 slices Swiss cheese, cut diagonally
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 large egg white
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, Dijon mustard, green onions, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Spread butter mixture on croissant halves. Add ham and Swiss cheese. Close croissants and place in the dish.
- Whisk egg white with water and brush on croissant tops. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
