Ingredients

  • ¾ pound thinly sliced smoked deli ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese, cut diagonally
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 large egg white
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix softened butter, Dijon mustard, green onions, honey, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread butter mixture on croissant halves. Add ham and Swiss cheese. Close croissants and place in the dish.
  • Whisk egg white with water and brush on croissant tops. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
