Description

These avocado deviled eggs are a creamy, healthy alternative to the classic recipe. Made with ripe avocado, Dijon mustard, and fresh lemon juice, they’re rich, flavorful, and perfect for parties or quick snacks.


Ingredients

  • 10 large eggs
  • 1 ripe avocado (halved and pitted)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons minced chives (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Place eggs in a pot and cover with water. Boil, turn off heat, and let sit for 11 minutes. Cool eggs in an ice bath before peeling.
  • Halve eggs lengthwise, remove yolks, and mash yolks with avocado, lemon juice, mustard, and hot sauce until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Spoon or pipe the avocado mixture into egg-white halves and garnish with chives.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to one day.
