Description
These air fryer apple fritters are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with fresh apple and cinnamon flavors. They are a healthier alternative to deep-fried fritters and come together in just 15 minutes! Perfect for a quick breakfast or a sweet snack.

- 1 cup diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
For the Glaze:
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and line the basket with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the air fryer, keeping space between them.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Whisk together the glaze ingredients and drizzle over the warm fritters. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crunch, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar after air frying.
- To make gluten-free, use a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
