For the Lasagna Rolls:
- 6 lasagna noodles, cooked & drained
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup shredded provolone cheese
- ¼ cup shredded Romano cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
For Breading & Frying:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 ½ cups Italian-style breadcrumbs
- Olive oil spray
For Serving:
- 1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Cheese Filling: Mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, provolone, and Romano cheeses in a bowl. Add egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Stir well.
- Cook the Lasagna Noodles: Boil lasagna noodles until al dente. Drain and lay them flat to cool.
- Assemble the Rolls: Spread a thin layer of cheese mixture over each noodle, then roll them tightly.
- Chill the Rolls: Refrigerate the rolls for 20 minutes to help them firm up.
- Bread the Rolls: Slice rolls into smaller pieces. Coat in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and cover with breadcrumbs.
- Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket with oil, place fritta pieces in a single layer, and air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve: Enjoy hot with marinara sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
